Susan Hengartner danced for several years with VA Wölfl - NEUER TANZ (Giselle in darkness let me dwell among others) and later also with Arco Renz (Think me Thickness).
In 2002 she co-founded the collective PAK, Praxis für angewandte Kunst in Zürich, Switzerland. The collective develops his projects according to specific places, concrete situations, institutions or persons. Her last work with PAK was in 2012. Their projects include: KANALBÜHNE (2005/06, Kaaitheater), ARE YOU FIT FOR THEATRE? (2006/07, Kaaitheater; Stary Browar, Poznan (PL); Gessnerallee, CH), WOHNUNGSBESICHTIGUNG (2010, Readymade-Performances, (wechsel/stube Zürich)) VOR ORT (2010, workshop and action for Explorationen, pact Zollverein, Essen)
In 2011 S.H. was guest-jurymember at pact Zollverein, Essen.
Since 2010 S.H. is member of the Tanzkommission Stadt Zürich
