Think Me Thickness

Think Me Thickness Arco Renz

Think Me Thickness is Arco Renz’ first choreography with Kobalt Works. In a rigorous dialogue with precisely codified movement principles, it represents the beginning of Arco Renz’ trajectory exploring  expressivity of abstraction, or Abstract Dramaturgy.

In this approach, structures of time, space and movement are autonomous dramatic elements. The performers engage in a negotiation process with these surrounding structures - an abstract story of conflicts, dialogues, tensions, transformations …

Think Me Thickness is a dance performance in 3 chapters negotiating physical resistance and distance between between individuals in a group.

It is an abstract physical drama: no narration, no storyline is linking the three chapters, but physical negotiatios of body states within an environment of constricting time-space structures.
